As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to explore exciting and diverse data, work with cutting-edge algorithms and technologies and participate in the development of solutions that generate new insights and products for the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute analysis pipelines using cloud computing platforms such as AWS

  • Independent creation of forecast models and support for the implementation of these models in the existing processes 

  • Use of state-of-the-art methods for data analysis and modelling (especially from the areas of machine learning, statistics, data mining and time series) 

  • Independent management of data projects and coordination with the requirements of various stakeholders 

  • Communication of the results obtained to the management 

  • Collaborate with talented data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders in an agile environment.

Job requirements

What you need

  • A University degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics or data science 

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant practical experience in the field of data science, machine learning or advanced analytics 

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in the application of statistical and machine learning methods 

  • Experience in the conception and implementation of data projects up to the go-live 

  • Experience in data preparation, analysis, modelling and visualization 

  • Very good knowledge of Python and/or R and SQL, PySpark an advantage

  • Gambling experience is desirable, but not essential

  • Highly enthusiastic and motivated

  • Able to multi-task and meet key deadlines and targets

  • A team player with strong communication skills (both verbal & written)

  • Demonstrate a can-do approach both mentality and in attitude

  • Flexible attitude to working hours

Where will you work?

You can work remotely as long as you are in a EU timezone or from our offices in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and Douglas, Isle of Man.
